Alerts & Resources

Hurricane Helene has disrupted activities throughout North Carolina, including within the NC AHEC Program. We are working with the most affected AHECs to assess how to support them, their work, and their teammates who have been adversely affected.

Our Mission

We provide and support educational activities and services with a focus on primary care in rural communities and those with less access to resources to recruit, train, and retain the workforce needed to create a healthy North Carolina.

Collaborative Care Model (CoCM)

Discover the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM), an integrated modality that provides patients with medical and behavioral health care in aprimary care setting. We are providing educational and practice-based support to primary care practices interested in CoCM.
