Elyssa Tucker is the Health Professions Student Liaison in the NC AHEC Program Office. In this role, Elyssa works with regional AHECs to coordinate housing efforts for students and creates strategic plans for implementing and strengthening interprofessional experiences.

Elyssa’s graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UNC-Greensboro. She completed a graduate certificate in Ethnic and Rural Health Disparities from East Carolina University, and in 2023, earned her master’s degree in Public Health from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Elyssa joined the Program Office on October 30, 2023.
