Kristie Hicks brings a strong background in public health and nearly a decade of experience in project and program management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Studies and a Master of Public Health from East Carolina University. Over the years, Kristie has contributed her skills to organizations such as the NC Department of Health and Human Services and the NC Society for Public Health Education.

She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt—credentials that speak to her commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

At NC AHEC, Kristie plays a key role in leading our upcoming strategic planning and monitoring efforts, overseeing regional and UNC-Chapel Hill on-campus work plans, and supporting a variety of other projects with Caroline Collier, Jill Forcina, and Adam Zolotor.
